Come As You Are Guitar Lesson - INTRO, CHORDS & STRUMMING

In this guitar lesson, I am going to be going over how to play the intro to Nirvana’s Come As You Are. This lick line is actually really great for beginner guitar players and the chords played later in the choruses in the bridge make this a decent beginner guitar song.

First, I will be going over the Nirvana Come As You Are intro as you here it played on the record. Now something to note, Come as You Are is tuned down a whole step on the record. Meaning your top string is D followed by G, followed by C followed by F, followed by A, followed by D. This Come As You Are intro lesson is done in standard tuning so that you do not have to tune your guitar down. BUT, if you want to play along with the record, you’re going to have to retune your guitar.
