Oh wow, I didn’t realize you could do this without having to completely remove the bolt, which was the part I was most nervous about because of the risk of dropping the bolt. Definitely gonna take a shot at this now.

Thanks for the video, Auto Repair Guys! I didn't have an 8mm socket on hand, but a 5/16 inch worked nicely. Once I realized the bolt stayed in place, I was a lot less nervous about changing this part out.

There is not a bolt in side of my door it is a round looking bolt with #7 on it. Completely round????
