If there was a plot to this movie, I missed it entirely, save the quest for a safe place to stay. The dialogue was better than some movies that they show free with ads.

I thought this was supposed to be about aliens and I didn’t see a single alien in it. Just some lame ass zombies and a typical survival situation scenario. The interplay between the characters, was probably the best thing about this film and it does have quite a good level of suspense. Keeping you thinking that something unusual and spectacular is about to happen. But sadly it never does, there are some quite scary moments when you think something horrific will happen, but doesn’t and it seems to be mostly about, how mundane daily things, are highly significant in a survival situation. It does create some interesting thoughts, about disease as a weapon, quite a potent issue post Covid 19 pandemic and some usual stuff about using drugs and racism thrown in for good measure, albeit in a nice subtle way. Shame about the low budget and lack of spectacular effects and no aliens, or it could’ve actually been a top tier film. Overall 6/10.
I thought the acting was alright, considering they didn’t have too much to work with and running around in the forest and on hills, is pretty exhausting work. Good job by the cast.
Thanks for uploading this, no harm done. I do remember seeing this some years ago, but I didn’t remember how it went, probably bc there’s not much that’s shocking or exhilarating. A pretty mild film and not bad for teenagers to watch.
I was going to look for a colourised version, of the POW escape film the Wooden Horse, but chose this instead. Guess I’ll have to go back to my original plan now.
