Not one pair of those boots would last 1/4 as long as a pair of Nicks, Franks, Wesco or Whites boots.

hmm, no Wesco, Nick's and White's? Is this a joke?

I have a suede version of the Normandy, it’s nice, really nice but it’s a fashion/statement boot. Not really what I thought it was I don’t wear it much, my Mark Albert boots have a sense of style to them, in that they are a hair sleeker than your Red Wings n stuff but probably 3 times as tough (Ridgeline - Mushroom roughout leather)

All those boots are lacking arch support, most likely not even made in the US and if you're over 220 lb you'll be wasting your money by purchasing another pair with in 4 to 8 months. Like they say invest in some decent quality boots and if you cannot afford the boots that are ranging 5 to 6 hundred dollars Nicks is the only company that allows you to purchase gift cards in increments of $25 all the way up to $200. This is the only way to invest in yourself by making your own layaway-plan with gift cards.

The Caterpillar second shift boots aren’t US made, they’re made in China. Cat does make one model in the US now, and it should’ve been in the list instead of the second shift boots, since they were trying to feature all US made boots.

It all depends on what you're going to use them for; my 18 year old $125.00 L.L.Bean Chippewa Original Engineer Boots are still going strong for occasional yard work. AND, show no signs of failing anytime soon either!

Doesn't China own Redwing? The top 3 spots should be (not in any order) Wesco, Nick's and White's, period. Chippawa Super Loggers are so good that California will not let them sell them here!!! I tried buying them, but Chippawa does not sell their Super Loggers in CA!!! Great Communist state I happen to live in....

Obviously advertising. So many channels on YouTube feature products that pay them.

Love the people in the comments demanding that Wesco, White's, Nick's and Frank's must be here and claiming the video is a joke. Like, no shit these boots would last 1/4 of the time, they're not massive multi-year saving efforts to MAYBE be able to afford a pair, even then that's forgetting the various products for the boots people also demand you buy along with it which inflates the cost even further. It's tonedeaf to claim they have to be on here since this video is very obviously marketed towards the average consumer who most likely cannot afford these big brands at all. To compare it to cars, it would be like if you demanded that a guys first vehicle be a Ford Raptor. Sure it's a lovely vehicle but you don't need THAT much overkill for the majority of work and activities people are going to be doing as well as chances are they can "tough it out" with a much lower cost option until they can eventually save the money for one.

Who are we bullshitting here!! No Nick's, White's, Frank's, JK or Wesco boots. This is laughable.
