The Toyota Tacoma and the Tundra should have been on this list, seeing how they are made in Texas. And also seeing that the Tacoma and the Tundra are more American than the Silverado/Sierra.

Honorable mention for this list should be the Kia Optima. My Optima is built in West Point Georgia with 49% of its parts content are American sourced. That includes the engine and transmission.

My wifes new ( ok new to her) Hyundai Sonanta is built in alabama, it has more room for the driver than any other car we looked at, and that includes Taurus, 300S, ccaravan, and Lincoln, quite a feat

The American-Made Index takes into account three key factors to determine how “American” cars are, including the percentage of parts that come from “domestic” sources, where they are built and total sales (a U.S.-built vehicle that sells in higher numbers is considered more American than, say, a niche model built here)

I expected Honda to be on the list but I really thought Tesla would be #'s one, two, & three. I'm really surprised they aren't on the list at all.

I have a 98 Vette... How did Corvette make the list? It is chock-full of thousands of parts with ‘made in ( some shitty 3rd world nation)’ stickers... lowest bidder, cheapest materials. Oh yes, wanted to say also the “fresh air” ( no glowing stogie) was nice! Good move for ‘the bear’👍🙋
