Echoes - Original Music (Remaster)
Показать описание
... and YES, naming this "Remaster" is kind of a joke. But, honestly, I totally messed up the versioning of this track and ended up attaching a bad, not even remotely good and polished version to the video. You can imagine, that I was quiet in shock as a realized that. Not only did I lose 4h of finalisation progress, but doing all this again was a nightmare. But I think now its even better. Phew. It took a lot of work to get this done. Everything is fixed now.
About the video...
We had been visiting "Halde Rheinpreußen". One of many spoil tips in the "Ruhr Region". Usually I am not filming. But that day, no idea why, I was in the mood to record some impressions. The problem started when I was putting the clips together back home: I was in desperate need of some musical emotions to support this video. Luckily after another sleepless night it ended in this mood track. I named it... "Echoes".
About the track...
(Note for future me, when this gets a song, maybe)
* DAW: GarageBand
* Key is C-sharp-major.
* Using no minor chords is intended. Very uplifting mood in my opinion.
* Chord Progression B-major/A, G-major, D-Major, A-Major (Capo 4th, some chords sus2/4, forgot to write it down).
* 90 bpm
* Two Bass Guitars. One for subtle slap, the other one as texture for the whole measure, combined with strummed Power Chords. Usage: Flexible Stereo Bass that spans from beat 1 to 3.
* Super weird electronic drum kit. I like it somehow.
* Rythm: Only Acoustic Western Guitar Used. Pickup Only. Some virtual amps with a little bit too much gain. Which is stupid for acoustic, but I like it.
* Lead: Also the Western Guitar. Pickup Only. Very NOT subtle echo of course.
