I have a question: which is the better material for the subfloor for a freestanding tub or a Schluter curbless shower ? Pressure treated plywood or regular plywood? I’m planning on covering the plywood with Ditra heat, Schluter waterproofing membrane then tile. This platform will go in my basement and will have drain flanges with pipes running beneath it.
