HOW TO CUT TILES “SIMPLE” BEGINNERS GUIDE

We show you the easiest way to cut a ceramic tile on a Sigma tile cutter. There is many videos out there which gave you miss information so we hope we have helped you out .

Tile cutter is from "Sigma" and can be ordered from any good tool shop or hired from most tile shops in your area

The only critique I would have is to say when you go to snap your tile.
Place your bumpers as close to the end of the tile as possible in order to get the best separation. He snapped his about 6 inches up the tile which will allow for inconsistent chipping on the edges.
If for some reason the tile will not separate, place pressure with your hand on one side of the tile and slam your hand down quickly on the other side of the scribed line. You should rarely ever have to do this. Mainly only when working with both thick and large format tile.

Nice video, just got a sigma today. I will follow your tip about not cutting twice .
Any tricks to keep the edge straight? some of my cuts the edge are a bit beveled. Face line stays straight- I have only cut 2 tiles to mini bits so i hope to improve !

I sometimes chipped the tile when I cut it any reason why. Want Advice please?

Porcelin is hard to cut. It may be that you need a new cutting wheel. They're not very expensive.

My tiles keep splitting off for some reason, what the fuk am I doing wrong, so frustrating.
