Give as much breast milk as you can and if that's not sufficient stop being guilty and go on formula. I don't have much milk supply but still I keep breast feeding and later give my baby a bottle of formula as well. Everything has a solution so don't be guilty and please don't starve your child just in hope of him/her fetching milk from your breast and filling their tummy. Every mother is great the one who breastfeeds, other who formula feed and some who feed both. Just be happy and smile ☺️

My OB & pediatrics doctor said as long as they have 5-6 wet diapers a day & some breast fed babies can go up to two weeks without pooping bc the baby’s body absorbs all the nutrients and minerals in the breast milk. Other than that everything else is informative.

1) No child “suffers” from DS. They’re more alike than different
2) it’s Down syndrome- NOT “Downs” - John Langdon Down discovered the genetic difference and it’s not possessive.
3) babies with DS are very capable of breastfeeding and this is mid informational
