I have a treemotion S Light saddle and love it. I climb for fun and have dropped several thousand on gear and ropes over the years. Best money I ever spent because when climbing you don't think of anything in the world except your next few moves. Ultimate stress medicine and I highly recommend it to everyone watching.Stay safe

very well done, and thank you. ive been climbing big trees here in northern california for 31 years, age 72.... and i am still climbing/working i watch all you different teachers every day, , , just starting to add SRT to my late than one of the comments here mentioned them getting the ring in their throw ball stuck sometimes.... i have but not i tape the ring shut with electric tape or a 2 inch piece of bicycle inner tube slipped over the ring with just enough room to tie my slipped anchor ive subscribed to your channel because you are a easy going good thanks mendo

I use canopy anchor most of the time. I use an Alpine Butterfly and a quickie to cinch my tie in, and when I'm ready to come down, I just send a tail long enough to touch the ground and I can pull my anchor out of the tree and retrieve my rope. Good tips in here though!

We use a lot of these knots pulling wire and rope through conduit

This explained more than any of the 50 videos I've seen so far. Thank you for pointing out the end knot many times to hammer it home.

This is an awesome video my man. Very nicely presented. I've been climbing SRT for a while now, but I always learn something new. The little things that make so much difference. Like the stopper not while prepping the Rope Wrench to keep the Hitch Hiker pulley from sliding down. That one is golden (like, why didn't I think of that).

Excellent 👍 I'm 43 been climbing for a long time finally got an srt set up, man what a difference. Haven't used it much up in the canopy but it's great for ascending.

I am just starting to climb for my own personal use and I’ve watched a lot of videos and this is the best training video on SRT in my opinion for the beginner. Great job!

24:27 you can also use a ringloop or Prussik loop with a karbine, take the end of the rope, and use it as a pulley system

Brilliant! Absolutely the BEST FIRST aspiring arborist video to watch!
This explains an aspect missing from other climbing videos.

I’ve done tree work in the past, just ladder, climbing and chainsaw. Not one piece of rope! 😱
Now in my late 40’s I have a want to climb up trees again, but doing it THE RIGHT WAY! I’m having trouble understanding all those damm knots 🤦🏻‍♂️
BTW I like to do tree work for just fun, the adrenaline rush I used to get back in the days was comparable to flying on my motorcycle.

Getting old so wising up!
I’m gonna learn this shit! FOSHO!
Well done! 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
