His assertion that CNN is "in the middle" makes it difficult to lend him any credibility.

Extraordinary that one would classify CNN anywhere near the middle...

3:28 Uh... CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc are definitely *not* "in the middle."
You'd think you'd know the difference between liberal propaganda and centrist/non-biased reporting _before_ lecturing us.

This video is a oversimplifying the Bias in the media... He fails to take into account the Level of influence of ownership and involvement of corporate media in dictating to what and how the stories are reported

The reason for media bias? Answer: colleges and universities, where journalists go to get "educated".

This is rubbish - waste of 5 min

He’s only stating the obvious . The bias is real and I think rather complicated . I’m sure there are behind the scenes forces at work ; and I was hoping for an in depth analysis

For least biased news sources, click on:

Then simply scroll down the page until you see the list of links in red. Click on those that catch your eye.

For example, the first on in the list is:
9News – KUSA (9news.com)
Click on it and you’ll find at the bottom of the detailed report given about this Denver TV station, you’ll find their link to click on that takes you to their website:

Each different news source is given a detailed report. At the end of each report is the link to their website.

Bookmark those that appeal to you.

Many will offer to send you their newsletter. Note that it is easy to unsubscribe at any point in time if and when you want to. By adding and deleting news sources and/or newsletters, you can curate news that fits your needs best.

How can you disconnect the economic influence from the industry owners? He States that the content is more influenced by the people's need for drama so whatever sells the most papers has more determination on what the content contains. To separate that from the motivation of the owner is trying to split the same hair. If their platform is presented with the guise of honest reporting and you make the statement that they are motivated by profit "whatever sells" your contradicting yourself. I find that intellectually conflicting.
