With all the research and observations of space we have humans dating back to Galileo. All the efforts we’ve made in the last 50 years alone with Hubble, now Webb. Trips to other planets, giants listening arrays, interlinked ground based observation working in unison.
All that and the amount of the universe we’ve actually observed is so small, it wouldn’t register on a chart. If all the oceans of the earth were the universe, then the amount we have observed as humans since the 15th century, is equal to One 12 ounce glass of water from the ocean.
