Can imagine a few who doesn't know this. The tougher job is to get the hood open all the way to the windscreen for working in the engine area.
I need to get the TCM out and would be happy the hood out of the way, so need to open more than the normal open position!

It's probably a good idea to look up the youtuber Chrisfix‘s videos on how to clean everything inside the hood of your car before showing it to people making for a better video. Otherwise it's a good video.

If I’m being honest, I’ve worked on many cars, engines, etc. opening the hood has always scared me of making a fool out of myself and I’m unsure why. I’ll confidently do an oil change, swap out the fuel pump or even replace a head gasket but get someone else to open the hood😂
