How does the balance feel when carving? Does the head or handle feel heavier than the other?

Great video! Had my eye on the Wildlife hatchet but this one seems to be more efficient. Can you do a video on sharpening that bad boy.

Say Heah, I have a 17" Hultafors Bruks Agdor Hatchet, the 20" ? G. B. Small Forest Axe and a 19" White Hickory Handle with a Iltis Oxhead 2 1/2lbs head handed on it, and my new 24" Council Wood Craft Pack Axe, and a Ochsenkopf Axe OX 620 H 1257. But I like my 24"Council Wood Craft Pack Axe with the Heavy Duty Sheath and Sling the best. Thanx You for sharing.

Smal Forest Axe is about 19 inches handle length, Ray Mears Edition is about 23.5 inches handle length, Forest Axe is about 24 or 25 inch length Handle. Ray Mears Edition uses the Small Forest Axe Head.

its actually not the exact same thing as the Small Forest Axe, The Ray Mears Edition is approx 4 inches longer than the Small Forest Axe. I believe that is the only difference.

Thank you for your review. I enjoyed it. I am still deciding whether to buy the SFA or the Ray Mears Edition.
