I own both these axes you have and use.. I really like the, Scandinavian.. great tool. I have the largest, Frost Island canvas and leather backpack. Has leather axe holder, the Scandinavian fits perfectly.. wanting to add 1 more to my collection of cutting tools.. decided to go with, H.and B. Forge.. American made.. tough as any mountain man, ever was....lol. good vid. Thanks

I have the wildlife hatchet, small forest axe, Scandinavian forest axe, and the American felling axe. I’m not into bushcraft and use them in hardwood on my property. The Scandinavian is probably the most used and probably the most versatile for me. I agree on the fun element. 💯

It’s an absolutely perfect size for camping and trips, out, lightweight and beautiful balance. It’s my favourite axe for that sort of work… far better than a hatchet.

Have you ever split firewood with it, I was thinking of the large long 445 splitting axe or that . Mostly to split wood, but also limbing. Thank you, good video, I can’t afford to buy the wrong tool right now.
