All depends on what's available for your vehicle packaging wise and your budget. You can buy lower control arms that lower the spring pocket but keep the geometry of the suspension stock, thus you can run a stock OEM spring and shock and get the drop just from the pocket rather than a spindle. Though I've seen some lowering kits that use the OEM upper/lower arms but you have to grind drill and chop off the original bump stop mount to add in their bump stop with a drop spring kit. I personally would rather have the coil-overs and the adjustable shocks just for the wide range of adjusting only if I dont have to do any chopping or welding to make them fit in the OEM setup and don't need to rob the Brinks truck.. lol

Hi qa1. Thinking about installing the rear qa1 coilovers for my 66 c10 but not the tubular trailing arms. What's the maximum amount of drop coul I get with RCK52612? Would appreciate a response. Thanks.

Save ya 6 minutes. Go coilovers if you can afford it. If you can't, it's better to wait and save up more money instead of settling on a spring shock upgrade.

hello, thanks for sharing all this! I would like to lower my 455ho 1971 Trans am and make it stiffer with your coil over system. What would be the best deal?

So I have 61 Chevy C10 with a rebuilt 84 front clip. I also installed a 1 3/8 front sway bar. Truck handles great but the ride is rattling my truck on rough highways? Do I consider better shocks or remove the sway bar for a smaller diameter. Can I place coil over shocks on stock Chevy front suspension?
