How about putting it in front of an overdrive pedal or an amp that's overwriting the way it's supposed to be used. It sounds really bad through a clean amp. Also, treble boosters don't just boost treble.

I am amazed how many demonstrations, only through a clean amp, only at 15 watts. Treble Boosters were to push the amps treble and mid frequencies . It Is a tube amps response to the tubes being pushed in volume, a mix or live, the solos were to cut through mids and bass, guitars and drums.

I've never heard this into a clean amp. Interesting. -Would really like to see this singing through an overdriving amp.

Well that was a waste of time. Everybody that is famous for a TB pedal, ranging from Iommi to Gallagher to May ran it into a dirty amp. Be it VOX, Laney or a Marshall.

Interesting, though I'm sure it has junk footswitches rated for three cycles like the two I bought that were supposedly new, but borked right out of the box.

Can’t believe that you would go through the trouble of producing and posting this video. Must be the worst recorded guitar tone in the world. Take any cranked tube amp and boost it with a treble booster, record it with an iPhone if you insist and it will be a glorious raging rock tone. I don’t get it.
