Comparing 5 Amazing Booster Pedals - Clapton vs Sabbath vs Deep Purple vs Rainbow vs Queen vs Faces

In this video I compare 5 Booster Pedals from BSM Pedals. I'm playing them through a 1963 Vox AC30 Head and a 1968 Marshall 4x12 model 1982A. I'm using both Fender Strat (1973) and Gibson Les Paul Custom (2010). The pedals are:
BSM RM - Based on 1965-1969 Dallas Rangemaster for a Clapton or Tony Iommi tone.
BSM DM-T - Based on unspecified late 1960s Germanium booster. Sounds like Brian May to me.
BSM RW-F - Inspired by Ron Woods early 70s Humbucker tone
BSM RPA - Based on Ritchie Blackmore's tone around 1974 on for instance on California jam where he got extra push from the preamp in the Aiwa tape recorder he used for the echo.
BSM Model Studio 75 - Based on the guitar tone on Rainbow's first album.

Hello Johan, all these treble boosters sound very good and provide iconic sounds, my personal preferences go to the DM-T and RW-F, they are more well rounded and less mid- pokey than the other models, cheers!

Thank you very much Johan for the great comparison video!!! Just one aspect is missing: trebleboosters do clean up so fine when you turn the volume control in the guitar down. This is why they help greatly for dynamic playing.

You are an amazing person and thank you for all the tests throughout the years! I did a blind test from the beginning and the one I liked the most was the pedal bypassed on your first audio clip but the pedals were also very good. No doubt about it. Everything is very subjective!

The DM-T can be described as a HS-C with a tone control. The HS-C is a fine recreation of the Germanium fitted older Hornby Skews treblebooster with a volume control as Blackmore had his pedals modified.

Great comparison Johan, out of all of them I think I'm inclined to the DM-T the most then the original RM.
I'm a proud owner of the RM Metal trying to get that 69'/70'ish Iommi sound before his third album. On my Marshall I usually turn bass and mids all the way down and everything else at max.
Playing on the neck pickup it makes it sound bright and sharp, definitely an interesting sound since the neck pickup is always pretty bassy. Then the bridge pickup for leads. (ear-piercing)

Five pedals with distinct characters. I liked the RW-F best: better balanced than the rest, and sounded good on both instruments. But I think I'd be happy with the RM, too.
