🤣🤣🤣Hey Cristo. It looks like fun. Can’t wait to give it a rip🏌🏻‍♂️👍 Your face on camera angle shows a 20degree shoulder tilt when the club is forward of the ball. The Moe Norman swing advocates a similar ‘tilt’ at address so I’ll try this option and also the Moe option with the ball tee further forward to maintain an upward angle of attack at impact. Should be fun either way🤣🏌🏻‍♂️👍

You are totally smashing the ball 🔥🔥🔥 your lateral motion creating tons of natural power that has finally been unleashed. Thank you my friend for the shout out ⛳⛳⛳

This is a very good tip and much thanks to Michael for the tip to you and for you Chisto for showing it to us!
There is a drill I've worked on when I don't have any warmup time on the first tee, and that is to turn/rotate the body, like a normal swing but without moving my arms until I've turned back to where the ball would be. It works to fire up the core, back, and hip muscles, and also loosens up the shoulders, simply by resisting the urge to force the arms through. It is impossible to hold the arms in front of you on the follow through, but do your best to keep them pinned to your chest.

correct me if I am wrong, if one hits the ball of the top of the tee without hitting the tee, then the sweet spot is not being utilized which is the upper middle of the club, rather it would be the bottom of the driver.

This is a variation of the Dr. Kwon step Drill. A lotote simple if it works.

I remember seeing a lady golf instructor on YouTube a couple of years ago that used the same method. Great video Christo.

Great strech exercise Christo...I notice that the driving range you are using...has grass for the tee area amd then is that sand or dirt range???? Good way to save water and cost....Love it...

Can I assume there is no penalty if you contact the ball going back - just retee and try again?

Have you tried an extreme forward press instead to see how close a benefit you get, but without the danger of accidentally knocking the ball and getting a penalty?

This is straight from Dr Kwon except his training is bigger both in front and going back. Also integrates a step both ways.

Hits 20 balls without hitting the tee then proceeds to hit the tee two times in a row. Great tip Christo

Swing looks like a cross between Hogan, Norman, and Trevino.

H Christo i have enjoyed watching and writing to Dr Blade myself in the past. I will have to see what he is up to now.

The drill I can see is great. But because it is a three part swing of forward, back and then forward again I believe logically it can not be legally used in tournament golf.

I believe the reason why it works so effectively is because it creates a longer backswing path for the club head to follow since it instantly activated your trail side obliques to start your backswing and then quickly reverts back to your lead side obliques for your backswing followed again with your trail side obliques to finish your swing until both obliques are turned off at the end of your swing when you stand tall and proud at the end of your swing.

I believe that every professional players knowingly or not knowingly do what I call: The Crunch and Turn Golf Swing’

Here why.

1Because our obliques are the only muscles groups that can tilt and turn our body at the exact same time
2Our obliques communicates between our upper and lower body particularly our shoulders joints and hip joints as we are in our golf posture swinging our club back and forth.
3 Our obliques provide the power to our swing and transmit additional power to all the other muscles groups throughout both our upper and lower body.
4 Swaying is absolutely impossible when we immediately activates our obliques effectively in our golf swing.
5 And absolutely no chasing after the ball at impact will ever need to take place since we are swinging our club in place.

By immediately activating our alternating side obliques muscles groups to tilt and tun our body they also are able to precisely guide the path of our club head, our hands, our arms; and our shoulders along with our hips, knees. ankles, and feet as we swing our club back and forth

My method is simple: to be consciously and always aware of our alternating obliques as we are swinging our club back and forth. Do not start the back swing focusing on our hands arms or shoulders ever again as they and the rest of our body will absolutely respond to the activation of our obliques.

To start the backswing simply and immediately crunch and turn first with your lead side obliques. And then for your downswing simply crunch and turn with your trail side obliques right to the end of your swing when your obliques will shut off allowing you to stand tall and proud with our trail foot off the ground.

Bottom line: I believe all golfers need to consciously and deliberately activate there obliques and let everything else follow. Hope you try it yourself. Cheers

Beware, “long drivers” generally hit balls right, left, and all over the place. We just discussed the value of straightness, and now we are back to long ball swings again! (Ah! The allure of the 300 yard drive!) And what is the difference between this “forward-before-back” move and just a little forward press before taking the clubhead back? Seems to provide more velocity for the backswing. MAYBE, just maybe, Christo just needs to speed up his backswing to speed up his downswing. Also this “forward-before-back” action move will increase the turn in the backswing because of increased backswing speed — so you can understand that a faster backswing is maybe naturally a deeper more rotated/longer backswing. A longer backswing arc means a longer downswing arc. A longer arc should mean more clubhead speed. Maybe Christo should try a little “forward press” move too, and compare that with the “forward-before-back” move. Also, this might indicate Christo is “tighter” than he should be for his swings. Tight muscles mean less flexibility in movement, and, we would guess, a shorter backswing, and so less clubhead speed and less distance given all other things being fairly equal.

So much for the analysis. Now for my 2 cents. Want longer drives? Build some muscle and practice to be flexible in spite of being pumped up. Push-ups, pull-ups, and a 4 lb sledgehammer will do the trick! Soon enough the clubhead will feel light in your hands. Yes, you will get physically tired doing such a workout. But if you are going for the 290 yard driving average, going for 230 yards in the air with your 3-iron, then this is what it takes. But a 265 yard drive really gets it done pretty good if you just hit all the fairways. A 265 yard drive will put you in position to make a birdie on all but the longest par-4 holes. A 265 yard drive puts you only 165 yards out on a 430 yard par-4 hole — that is like a very modest swing with a 7 iron for a guy that drives the ball 265. With a 7 iron you should be landing the ball near enough for a birdie putt of around 20 ft. on average. We can understand this to be true. And on shorter holes, then you will be approaching with 8 irons, 9 irons, and wedges... the “attack” clubs.

For me “timing” a swing just isn’t consistent. So I strive for “correct sequence, ” as a correct sequence leads to correct timing about automatically, I do find. A lot less stress in just thinking about “sequence” than trying to “time” my moves.

Okay, I’ll say no more.

🤣I think the driver head is somewhat more than 12 inches in front of the ball Dr Blade🏌🏻‍♂️🤣👍
