Yo theory time:

I think this song is about a guy getting investigated by officers after a large incident occured where all of the guy's friends were killed by someone, got stuffed in a bag, thrown in a car and were either buried in a ground somewhere or was thrown in a river. And he was one of the victims of the incident. The officers were suspicious about the guy because of his stuttering pausing and possibly lying about the stuff that happened there but the truth was the guy was suffering from Apophenia. Apophenia is a schizophrenic type disorder where you tend to see connections or patterns in two completely, different and unrelated things together. And when he was getting investigated and questioned at, he tends to tie down unrelated subjects to them as if he's giving clues to the officers about the situation because he can't just blatantly tell them. Maybe because he was also experiencing PTSD that's why he just hinted at them about the situation to avoid getting triggered or flashbacks by it.
