When I was applying to law school, I was left with many unanswered questions. I came across countless conflicting opinions online, but the rambling Reddit thread rumors were not the reliable and reassuring resource I had in mind.

This series is intended to answer common questions about your law school application by getting the information straight from the source: the admissions office!

The goal is to demystify the admissions process and debunk common urban legends that I––as I am sure some of you––have seen circulating online. Comment any questions you would like answered in a future video!
I will be posting a new segment each week – subscribe so you don't miss out! Follow me on Instagram at @velovh

1. If you take the LSAT more than once, are your scores averaged?
2. Do you need legal experience before applying to law school?
3. Is there a GPA and LSAT “cutoff”?
4. Do admissions officers hate having extra materials to read in your application?
6. Should you take the LSAT instead of the GRE?

Hi! If you are still taking questions for this series I have one: How does a candidate with a criminal record or arrest fare in the admissions process? Thank you.
