VEGA Project: Supporting nurses in addressing family violence

Family violence is a major public health problem with devastating consequences for children, women, families, communities and society. The VEGA Project has developed online educational resources to assist health-care and social service providers in providing safe and appropriate care to those impacted by family violence. This webinar will provide an overview of family violence in Canada, the VEGA Project and the resources available.
The objectives of this webinar are to:
• Gain knowledge about family violence in Canada
• Develop an understanding of the VEGA Project and how the resources were created
• Provide tools and resources to support nurses to address family violence in practice
