Since the reinstall method works again, the free version using ADV file explorer works as well btw

Did all the steps. The two Minecrafts in the queue didn't merge. Launching after all the updates yielded everything besides the custom skin pack.

Over 2 months later and I can confirm it still works. However, you need to name your custom skin number 1-5 because you can’t view anything over 5.

I keep updating the special minecraft, but it doaent fuse with the original. It just asks me to update it over and over

everytime i try to download something it says “Download paused, canceled or error occurred” why does this happen???

I had to uninstall the main minecraft then download the special minecraft and finally redownload the main and it worked

I'm trying to do the reinstall method but when I get to updating the "Spongebob" Minecraft it takes a split second to update and it doesn't merge with the other Minecraft, what do I do?

Edit: Found a fix, when you install the spongebob version, uninstall the normal version and click on the spongebob version then it should say update, update it and when it finishes you can play and you should have the skin pack

Absolutely awesome. You also do not have to do the placeholder skin pack tho it may be easier. If you already have one of the old skin packs from before this method, you can just replace the files inside the existing pack the same way. Less work for those who are only here for the skin packs rather than the complexity of modding

I got to the reinstall method. But the 2 minecrafts dont merge. And the one just downloaded will update, but afterwards it still says it needs updating.

I did every step perfectly but the two minecrafts didn't merge and after click ing update for 5 mins I loaded into Minecraft and the skin pack wasn't there

awesome tutorial, had to watch video on how to create missing files and then when i updated the "new" minecraft they wouldn't merge. Almost gave up hope. Then I restarted xbox, deleted both minecrafts, reinstalled the "new" minecraft, updated, it merged and skins were there!
