I followed everything you did in your video.
It took me approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to complete the job. I had the mop and clean around the toilet area it was kind of nasty before I actually started the job.

Hey old buddy, I stopped using the wax rings altogether a while back, been buying the reusable silicone gaskets, they are a bit more expensive but I've had 100% satisfaction with them!

Installing a toilet takes me 1 hour, and the caulking takes 15 minutes. Removing a toilet can take 15-30 minutes. Going to buy the toilet can take 30-60 minutes.

How important is it to leave the rubber washer out, with the flush valve? Didn't read the directions properly and don't want to take toilet apart again.

Your toilet flange is not installed correctly. It's suppose to sit on top of the finished floor. I get many service calls because contractor install new tile in bathroom and don't raise the toilet flange. Or the home owner trys to put two wax rings together to make up for the void. And it leaks after a few months
