This Plasma Cutter Guide Doesn't Work! ( I know Why)

This plasma cutter guide doesn't work .Or maybe I am wrong ? Plasma cutter drag tip vs standoff do you know the difference? This Pt 31 lg 40 plasma torch hack will save you wasting your money buying a plasma torch guide that wont work. Plasma cutter consumables are expensive so you don't want to burn them out any quicker than needed that why I would not recommend this torch guide. This plasma cutter standoff guide will only work with a pilot arc plasma torch such as the p-80 or ag -60 torches. Because the cheap Chinese's plasma cutters mostly use a pt-31 or lg 40 torch people have been asking for a cutting guide without realizing it will be totally useless. But that doesn't stop the stores from selling them lol. But don't get confused between this guide and a circle cutting guide because the circle guides work well.

Pete,  you're absolutely correct. I have tried two different models and neither work with a non pilot Arc. I think I could get it to work if I could get it to even stay on.

What needs to be made is a drag tip for a cut 60 torch with pilot arc and has threads up on the top to catch the same threads as the ceramic cup but has an isolating fibre separator and a narrow close fitting copper drag tip to do the hold off. Now they make them for non high frequency plasma cutters but not for high frequency pilot arc machines. These wheels and the wire hold off are too wide and interfere with you cutting up against a wall or some tight place. Yes I know that the better machines are able but way more expensive.
