They made one of the classic blunders. Never collude against people with enough money to hold you responsible for your actions. This kind of thing works against the poors but it was never going to fly against someone who can afford to wage an indefinite legal battle.

OK ima be honest. As much as I think Twitch is ass, I don't think people realize how dumb Elon's lawsuit is. I don't know why Twitch is being added to it as Elon's whole reasoning for it is that he is alleging advertisers banded together to leave X. There are a few problems, one it isn't inherently illegal. Another thing is let's say it is true, we'll then what, more than likely the advertisers just say "we we did band together to leave, it was due to the increase hate speech, bots, (fill in the blank for whatever bad behavior) we all decided to leave". Like, yeah, this would lead to Elon experiencing loss in wages, but how do you ever prove their reason was invalid, and what does it mean for the reason to be valid?

Here's the thing, even if they are colluding, they are colluding to not be clients of a company. When Intel or MS were hit with antitrust, they were both damaging a competitor (AMD, Netscape). Here, they don't compete. They are clients. So... if they really add it to the lawsuit, twitch is just going to ask the case being thrown out, because Twitch isn't a competitor and it's not doing things as competitor of X, and it's also both a constitutional issue by the first due freedom of association. The only L in this case is Twitch having to waste their time on a frivolous lawsuit KEKW.
