Oversimplified is actually wrong about the Pykrete aircraft carrier, it was not a bad idea, it was just an idea that could not be made to work before other things solved the issue it was meant to solve. The Allies were able to close the Mid Atlantic Air Gap by the use of very long range aircraft and getting bases they could fly them from.
Sorry to tell you, but Imitation Game is widely criticized for a large variety of historical inaccuracies. The main problem is that Turing's role is much played up, and the critical roles of others are hugely played down or ignored. Anyone that watches that movie should watch a video on the issues or read an article about them.
Sorry to also say there is no evidence that Yamamoto ever said or wrote that famous line. He certainly understood that something like that was probably going to happen...he definitely was not one of the Japanese that underestimated American resolve. But there is nothing like that line in any of his writings that have been found....AFAIK.
Very very minor correction about Anthony McAuliffe and "Nuts!"...it was on December 22, so not quite Christmas. 💯💯✌✌

Little too simplified for my taste. Skips over so much detail it becomes rather meaningless. Maybe watching the Time Ghost WW1 and WW2 week by week series with Indy Neidell (never mind the stunning D-Day in 24hrs - one hour per episode!) has rather spoiled me for detail. But as a quick, if shallow, overview I guess it fits the bill.

Alan Turing wouldn't have had any success in 1942 if not for the Polish criptologists: the leader Marian Rejewski with Jerzy Różycki and Henryk Zygalski, who broke the Enigma code in 1932. The film The Imitation Game from 2014 wrongly assigned the whole success to Turing. Now the world do not know the truth- Turing only worked on the base which the Poles made few years before. The Poles couldn't continue their work because of no funds (Poland was on occupation). In 1939, Polish cryptologists, just before the outbreak of war, transferred their knowledge of Enigma to British intelligence. Różycki died in a shipwreck in 1942 and two others were not invited into the British team. Sad but true, When the world says that Turing broke the Enigma code - every Pole can't stand this lie.

I heard of Greek yogurt but never of basketball yogurt.
Greece was attacked by Italy on October 28, 1940. Germany attacked Greece on April 6, 1941. Athens fell to the Germans on April 27, 1941. The battle of Crete began on May 20, 1941 and officially ended on June 1, 1941. The Germans invaded the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. What was notable was that the German operations in Greece, delayed the invasion of the Soviet Union for six weeks, upsetting their time table and allowing for the Russian winter to set in. The German troops attacking the Soviet Union were not equipped with winter gear when the Russian winter came, so it was widely accepted back then that the delay caused by the campaign in Greece, was disastrous for Germany.
With the exception of the casualty percentages in the end, that seem to mix military casualties for other countries with Greek total casualties, the quotes mentioned are historically accurate.

It took Hitler six years to rebuilt Germany's armed forces, from 1933 to 1939. They used a dual currency economy to do this. The official money was the Deutch Mark, that was used for international transactions and payments. This currency followed the rule of Gold that was the international standard for setting monetary relations between countries. In parallel to this, Germany printed an unofficial "Internal Mark" that was inflationary money used to run the internal German economy, set up production and huge infrastructure programs.
