The 5 Big Problems Sony Needs To Fix

The PS5 is great but doesn't come without some problems that need to be fixed. Here are 5 that I feel Sony can fix right away.

I got mine about 3 days ago and I played about 2 hours before getting the message “your ps5 is too hot, then off the ps5 for temperature to cool down” and I had it away from the wall on its own side table and everything. No dust nothing. Then I cooled it down with a industrial fan and turned it on in 30 min and played for another hour and the message came right back. I bought it through ps direct. Regret it because they shouldn’t send me a defective system and make me waste my time
Will be returning and getting my money back and switching to Xbox lol

Very worthy mentions! Especially the lack of storage, no VRR, no 1440p, and no custom themes. I noticed the custom theme issue right away since December, when I tried to apply my premium Last of Us 2 theme, but weren't any options to do so.

I've ben have a prblem, I have the green screen like the matric screen also, it will not load any games.. Software?

I recently bought a ps5 but I have sporadic green screen and the console shuts off and after a manual power on it's entering in safe mode but not in all games
My question is hardware or software ?

The Control Center needs to be looked at too. On PS4 you can fully customize your quick menu and fine tune the Accessibility options. On PS5 you can choose Accessibility to appear in Control Center but there's no options to fine tune.

Has the rest mode problem been fixed? And is it really okay to use an external storage made for ps4?

Whenever I try to play a game, it just randomly puts the console into rest mode even though I turned off rest mode. Any suggestions? I already did the rebuild data.

Honestly why do you want double aas. Just play wired via usb c. I have heard nobody complaining about that

They need to fix the rest mode issue. The USB ports don’t provide enough power to charge my Astro A50 gen 4 headset. It will only charge if I’m downloading something.

They need to fix the ps5 connection dropping in and out I am hard wired to. Plus had some sound issues fixed it by just turning everything of and on again the sound

I read that Sony is coming out with a update firmware to condense the game files in the SSD to smaller files to make room but I think they will address that when they do which they will when they release the PS5 Pro or Slim with removable SSD. I think they should since Series S/X are able to do that since launch.

Coil whine, buzzing & LAN disconnections are the WORST issues by far. Count yourself lucky if you avoided these.
