Does Unagi Sauce have Eel in it? 🤨

If you like sushi, you probably have had this sauce on many rolls but it’s not just good on sushi! It’s perfect as a “teriyaki” glaze on grilled proteins and even goes well in quick stir fry’s.

It’s simple to make, just use equal parts of everything and reduce! I added some extra flavor profile to mine with a slight hint of seasoned vinegar for a subtle tartness.

What you’ll need:
Mirin
Seasoning or soy sauce
Sugar
Season vinegar (optional) 1-2 tsp
Water (optional)
