NuNature Unagi Sauce (Eel Sauce)

Unagi Sauce, or as some places call it Eel Sauce, is popular on many sushi rolls all around America. Here we re-create the sauce using NuNature Date Syrup to pack extra nutrients and cut back on the sugar intake at the same time versus using a ton of brown sugar. Check out the recipe below!
1 TBSP of Mirin or Rice Vinegar
1/2 Cup of Soy Sauce
5 TBSP of NuNature Date Syrup
1 TSP of Salt
2 Inch piece of Ginger Root
1 Stalk of Lemongrass
Bring to a boil and then simmer on a low heat for approximately 30 minutes until reduced by halfway. Strain ginger out and chill in refrigerator. Can be stored up to 2 weeks.
