Think that being weird makes you... well... weird? Nope. Being WEIRD makes you more likely to be successful. When you look at all the innovators in the world, they often didn't fit in, and very often were weird.

It's not just being weird, it's being your self and doing what you love even if it's weird

Weird is a compliment. When people first started calling me weird I would say "Thanks!" It would catch everyone off guard, and I love it.

Being normal is just limiting your true potential. Human psychology, if you cannot become who you want to become, you judge those who can do it.

Be weird and be yourself! You gotta love doing what you do no matter what! Shoutout to all the amazing weirdos out there!! 💯💯

Acting normal will create the standard normal, average, default, possibly mediocre life. Being atleast a little bit different than just being completely normal won't. I believe we all have a bit of weird in ourselves, it's called personality.

It's not being weird - it's being CONFIDENT! ~Smile!

I'm weird to most people because I start talking about spirituality, lucid dreaming. I also like trains, rollercoasters and anything that runs on rails.

I can relate to this so much! I don’t do a lot of the things that”regular” people do and I get called weird. I don’t drink alcohol, coffee, smoke or like
Partying oh and I’ve been single for 4 years and loving it!!! I never fell into peer pressure because I give zero fucks about what others think. I’ve been like this since my early twenties and I’ve never been happier. Weird is the new edgy.

I used to think weirdly during my childhood and teens, and because of that I get bullied. Also the way I walk was so weird to a point that it damaged my self confidence in terms of socializing with others. If many believe that teenage years should have been the best part of their lives, in my case, I considered it as my worst chapter of my life. My parents didn't even bother to help me out change the way I walk. What I knew is I don't think averagely compare to the people in my community. To add an insult to the injury, my last name, in our own language, colloquially means "crazy person". Yet now, I may not be that successful yet at the age of 30. I have been thinking over and over that if my parents and my significant others would have supported me like achieving the college degree that I've wanted in order to earn more income, or even be a virtuoso pianist, I would be more successful. Though I've come to manage that it's not good to blame the past and the financial situation that my family have been through. What I knew is this weirdness that I have could really bring me to a successful path someday.

I love being weird, I was definitely an introvert growing up and was afraid of people judging me. Now I express who I am and I really don't care what people think, I try to make the people around me happy.

When I was young I always wanted to fit in and was scared to be myself. Now as I get older in my late 20s I'm just openly weird. And everyone else is weird with me. Haha .I think everyone would be weird if they are completely themselves. Just alot of people hide it .
I realized I dont owe people shit. I'll be who I am.

Felt the same as a kid, kids would tell I was weird for always talking about the WWE, now I'm training on becoming a pro wrestler. Look at, me now!

What makes me unique (“weird”) - I believe that imperfection is perfection, I am genuinely happy and positiv, I believe in Karma, I believe no one does evil for evil sake, I think most friendships are not meant to last forever (but for certain parts of your life), I am genuinely honest (could come of as rude in certain situations, but actually is a real gift)...
- Thanks for making me think about myself for a moment :D

Thank you for this video. I’m 38 years old & started a new job 2 weeks ago. It’s in a large corporate. I have always known I was odd but for 15 years I worked as a consultant or with NGOs so my oddness worked in my favour. I think differently (in pictures & I break things down very simply). When talking or teaching I use 6 words rather than 30. This has meant I have been very successful in my work. I also have dyslexia (but I have achieved a lot academically) because I created lots of tools & strategies to help myself overcome my barriers. That means I engage in things intensely. Anyway the last 2 weeks have been hard because I don’t fit in & my difference isn’t just accepted like it has been in my previous workplaces who shared a more collective / accepting way of being. Anyway thank you. I just need to be myself. I’m okay. I might be a bit odd but that’s okay.

I don't do small talk. In fact, I talk very little in general. I'm a woman who works in IT and plays electric guitar as a hobby (but the way I'm doing it doesn't have much to do with how conventional guitar is studied, and I love it). I dress in a weird way at work. My sense of humor is weird and I don't care that people don't laugh when I make jokes. I don't own a TV and I stopped watching TV shows a couple of years ago, to focus on what I find exciting instead, philosophy, psychology and neuroscience books - so I have even less to talk about with my peers. As a kid I studied what lucid dreaming was and conducted a few experiments on myself. I don't drink alcohol, coffee, not even tea (in the UK!), though I do enjoy weed a lot. I also like your channel - but that last point isn't weird, is it :D
