Fixing Too Small Backing and Batting for a Quilt

I wonder if this has even happened to you? You prepare the backing for your quilt and think you have made it plenty large enough and then...................it's not :( and then to make matters worse you batting is too small also!!

Thank you this happened to me and I fixed it by adding backing and batting. I hand sewed the batting carefully with zero overlap and in the end you couldn't tell!
This was my error on not getting the top and bottom exactly matched up when basting. It all worked out.

I cut a piece to small and the binding doesn't cover it.

Great tips and I would absolutely love a review on the all bamboo batting. Does it have "shrink" value? How easy was it to FM quilt with?
