Kenshin is a reference to an anime called rurouni kenshin or samurai X in the west. It's a significantly more apt name for Yojimbo than you could imagine lol. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend watching that anime though.

Kenshin could be in reference to the titular character “Kenshin Himura”, from manga Rurouni Kenshin. It could also just be because “Kenshi” is the word for swordsman in Japanese, and adding the “n” namifies it a little. Either way, neat reference!

if no one's informed you, the reason why Khimari had such an easy fight against the two ronso at Mt.Gagazet is because that fight is specifically scaled to Khimari's current level/stats. Probably to prevent players not using Khimari regularly from having to go grind for hours, possibly backtracking quite a bit or burning through a lot of items to keep Khimari alive at the end of the fight

something i learned this vid: you can use Aeons against Yunalesca. i was CERTAIN she would banish them like Seymour3 does. or atleast do so on her transision into her third phase so megadeath would always hit. the fact it doesnt means i have been making this fight A TONNE harder since the games initial release. god damn.
