Fun fact about Spiral Plants: You can find like, 3 of them just chillin' at the entrance to the crystal cave AKA, the Deep Purple Vents, which is the largest purple vent in the game

I only found a spiral plant after I discovered the thing that can reverse-craft items and reverse-crafted synthetic material found on The Mercury.

I planted the piece of Spiral Plant I got from it and then waited for it to grow in my grow bed to see what kind of plant it would be.

Needless to say I was pissed because i'm pretty sure those plants can only be harvested by carving a specific point on their hitboxes and I failedwhile trying to do so when I first found them and didn't have a scanner on me.

this is literally the hardest resource to find...u cannot find it anywhere except inside ventgardens and in the deep purple vents...super hard to find those. no info.

Lotta neat plants in bz, but you can only grow so few of them! I get that they were mostly cosmetic, but I liked decorating my tanks for the fish </3

Pro tip: if you don’t wanna be in dangerous waters with chelicerates, you can find some synthetic fibres on one of the islands, and you should use that in the recyclitron for easy spiral clippings for you to plant

Bro, I didn’t actually ever end up finding one naturally before getting a clipping. In the cave with the Kharaa plusles on the giant creature, you can find a synthetic fibers, so I just deconstructed that and grew a plant

That was the Ventgarden's mouth. The closest thing it has to a "butt" would probably be the vent on top of it's head for expelling excess water to maintain a stable internal pressure.
