Love this, it’s like you read my mind, I just search your page last week to see if you have lectures on DKA/HHS. Question how would you manage a pt with dka whose gap has closed with adequate bicarbonate recovery but still cannot tolerate any diet, how you go about starting sub insulin and SSI or will you continue the insulin drip?

I have a question, how to mx DKA when patient has HFrEF? I mean administering fluid would risk cardiac overload. And fluid restriction will worsen DKA.
