Показать описание
Presented by: Justin P. Boren, PhD, Santa Clara University
There are a number of factors that contribute to worker stress including working hours, working conditions, low pay, working capacity, family and personal responsibilities, organizational support, and coworker relationships (to name a few). In this session, we will explore the way communication functions to bolster and/or hinder worker health, and how communication works as an important variable in understanding stress and health in the modern workplace.
This presentation took place as part of the California Labor Lab's third annual symposium - Modern Work and Workers' Voices.
