When it comes to the advanced Forehand, there is not so much left to work on besides fine tuning. When your Forehand is advanced you also want to stay away from over thinking 🤔 When you get to a certain level too many changes can be detrimental.

Watch this video to see how we take Logans advanced Forehand to a slightly higher level.

Wow - he’s swinging as fast as he can. Is that the key? Super fast swing and loose arm?

The path of the forehand to the ball is from 6 to 12 o'clock or 3 to 9 o'clock. thanks

Logan's forehand seems to be a bit jerky, there is a big pause especially right after the take back. The racket is too far to the right during take back. Also seems like the wrist isn't loose enough. Patrick Mouratoglou would catch all of these, but perhaps Pieter thought it was best to just make a few adjustments rather than break the whole thing down, as he mentioned in the description. Please correct me if I'm wrong about any of this.

Again, look at slow motion foreheads of Agassi, Lendl, Djokovic, Federer, Nadal. None of them break their wrist at impact. The ball is met with a relaxed wrist but out in front with the meat of the hand striking the ball and then you. go into the desired finish. Yes, one can master just flinging the wrist at the ball but under pressure this technique can break down.

People ask why the big 3 have been so dominant. Proper execution on the forehand has had a lot to do with it.

if you use the elbow higher for the momentum and get better rhythm i agree 100%, but he stops and then pulls forward so no momentum !!!
