I've known it's all about looks. If you're not a 10, if you're not hot and sexy, maybe a superficial thing could get you a date, but that's it. In addition to looks, I've known that glasses automatically make men less attractive. As bad as it sounds, but dating is like what Homer Simpson said, "Can't win, don't try"
Confidence is key is what a lot of people say. From what I've seen, if a guy is a 10, girls will label him as confident even if he's being cocky and arrogant. If girls think a guy is ugly, he'll be labeled as cocky and arrogant. Yes, some girls will see that hot sexy guy as arrogant, maybe if the ugly guy proves himself he could be seen as confident, but for the most part, a guys looks label him as confident or arrogant. Actions speak louder than words.

As humans we are always judgemental we see a person male or female and we have a preconceived notion of what they are like based only on appearance, It is only after we interact with them we change our opinion. Have you ever started a new job and the boss looks like a real prick he comes over to talk to you and he is a really friendly guy he still looks the same but your opinion has changed because of his personality

I liked a girl who was a close friend of mine . She rejected me and I was ok with it. I reduced contacting her .Then she text me 2, 3 times and I replied, but she seems not having a great interest in the conversion. I wonder weather she messaged me with any intrest or she was just being nice ?

I think this is genuinely great advice but personally I feel the REAL pill is that

1. Finding a attractive girl who is a good person with a great personality is hard.

2. Social rights discrimination. A guy can do everything right, go to school and have a regular job and still not make enough to live as normal person.

3. Thanks to the me too movement guys are terrified to approach or do anything cause it may be misinterpreted.
