I have this generator. I have it setup to run my entire house in the event of a power outage. It works great. I just completed setting it up to run off of natural gas. Pretty nice not have to worry about keeping it fueled up.

I've got the same unit. I'd hardly call it quiet. It's not the loudest generator on the market, but it's pretty loud. If you install a soft start on you ac you can run a much higher load.

Great demo video on the Predator, I assume it will be used for emergencies, but yea, seems like you had plenty of power! And yes, the Payne Teardrops are nothing to brag about as you say, but hey they do get the job done, don't mind them at all! Thanks for the video.

Damn I wish I had a hook up like. Sweet. Even though your AC unit is old but it is quite though. Great video.

Good info to know. Thanks I'm deciding between the 2 you showed. Think I'll go with quieter one.👍

Did you relize that when connected to the 240V of your house, you at limited to 7200 watts because of the breaker on the 30 amp outlet. I choose a Genmax GM9000iED because it has a 50 amp 240 outlet. You do NOT want a hard start kit; you want to use a Soft Start kit which is exactly the oposite operation. They cost $250-380 but they cut the inrush current by >60% and are easier on the compressor.

I had a guy running a generator after a snow storm and called us out because he had 3 different companies out to replace the control board 3 times because it had burnt up on a trane furnace. I get there and found out that most generators only run 50hz power and thats what was causing the boards to fail. Told him to buy a generac generator that puts out 60hz and he never had another problem again..

My A/C is 36 years old, I was replacing it every year since I bought the house 🤣
But it is time, we'll see if it last this summer but my heater is on life support and won't(can't) make another winter🤣😂😅🤣 it's werk'n!

With the output level of that generator, it should have a 50 amp output plug! HF screwed up big time on that! I would probably buy one if 50 amp, but not with 30 amp output only.

I think it is kinda crazy all these generators that can be used for emergency home power, but they cannot even run out in the rain...I mean come on, that is usually when we all loose power, during a storm... So, we all have to get creative, and build our own enclosures... I built a small, cheap one with 1/4in plywood, painted with water proof paint. I use about same size generator, different brand, and can power my 2 story home central AC, and use propane or gas

Propane conversion will lead to harder starting and less hp/watts. just so you know what to expect....

I would love to try one, but if Honda EU7000 generators are eating inverter boards, just imagine what this will do.

Could this run a mobile home with 100 amp service

Did you have to install a hard start on the AC or no?

I bought a Dual Fuel Generator because gas will go bad over a few months where propane is always good.
