I'm a 68 yr old rabid fan of your network, and 26 yrs mountainbiker, now riding an e-bike. I tremendously enjoy your tips and tricks, and skills demos, but one thing concerns me as a rider in the USA; and that is how you guys rip down your trails digging into, and throwing up rooster tails, essentially deforming the trail surface. Not a criticism, as things are obviously different in your country, but here, we have been hammered with the notion that we must not skid around corners/turns, and that "tearing up the trails" will get bikes, of any kind, banned from the trails. So, I would just appreciate if you might mention that proper care as to trail preservation should be exercised in areas and on trails where there is great sensitivity regarding this issue. Thanks for listening. BTW, my favorite episode, by far, was Martin riding Whistler-great job on that.

Steve, you always make it look too easy until I try it and have a reality check. Great video as usual from the team 😎

you've got some strong skills Steve! I can see more car park sessions in my future. Currently I can't do any of that (shakes head and sighs).

I find I can endo the back end to the right but struggle to the left even when switching feet forward so of cause need more practice. I would add, lifting the bike over a gate or fence with noone the other side and getting started again on a gnarly climb. Ebike specific skills is knowing how to keep the assist and maximising it as they are heavy bikes without it. I would add ratcheting for that reason. Track stands, wheelies, endos etc are general skills which you learnt before riding the ebike. Tyre pressure, partic in the front is a fine line with plus tyres..

Theres a lot of talk here regarding choosing a specific assistance level, and I guess that is true on many electric motors. But def not on shimano, where trail mode is so dynamic and great for everything from low speed tricks to high speed power assistance. Its just incredible versatile. Great tips by the way.

Great Tips ! Question though. What pedals type do you recommend ? This make a lot of difference handling slow speed tricks, and obviously while running up the trail... Thanks

I've ridden motorbikes for years including all kinds of motocross bikes and I just can not wheelie. I try on my hard tail push bike but still no. It's so frustrating!

You should really reapply some WD40 to your back brake, it squeeks horribly.

Disagree a bit there sorry-it's better to wheelie on a low power setting so you don't shoot past the balance point IMO. And I can wheelie pretty good
