How To Corner On An E Mountain Bike | Essential EMTB Skills

E-bikes and e mountain bikes have a tonne of GRIP. Let's look at how we can use that to the best of its potential.

We'll start with the basics and the physics of cornering. Get your weight low to really use everything that your e bike has. This will help you to stay stable and go even faster.

After weight, you need to consider balance. Yes, the rider is a key part of balance, but your bike setup will also help. Think of things like:
Tyres
Suspension
Bar and stem

Now, it's all about uphill corners. This is one of the places where there's a big difference on e bikes, especially with the difference in power.

Great balance of info for new e-mountain bikers on downhill cornering technique with fresh info on uphill techniques that most people have never had to consider.

I do find comments ironic. Gmbn mentions ebikes and get comments about ebikes not being bikes. On the EBike channel you get comments about the videos being the same as mountain bike videos. Ebikes can't win right now.

Keep up the good work, not everyone has watched the gmbn back catalogue so a good mix of traditional and new techniques will benefit most viewers.
