High Protein Creamy Lemon Garlic Shrimp Linguine! Only 490 Calories🍤🍋🧄🍝

This might just be the best pasta recipe i’ve made, the amount of flavour is insane for how easy it is to make with minimal ingredients🤌🏽

Macros per serving (4 total)

490 Calories | 51g Protein | 45g Carbs | 11g Fat

Ingredients (4 servings)

- 800g Raw Argentinian Shrimp (I get these frozen from Lidl)
- 3 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 2 tsp Italian Herbs
- 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
- 1.5 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3/4 Lemon Juice
- 2-3 tsp Olive Oil
- 40g Light Butter (for cooking)
- Fresh Parsley
- Extra Lemon Juice
- 250ml Milk
- 120g Light Cream Cheese
- 40g Parmesan
- Extra Seasoning (Garlic, Paprika, Chilli Flakes, Salt, Italian Herbs)
- 25ml Pasta Water
- 500g Cooked Linguine Pasta (or any pasta of your choice)

Important Cooking Notes

- When marinating the shrimp you can use garlic powder instead and you can omit the olive oil to save calories
- After the Shrimp is cooked, lower the heat and add butter, parsley and lemon
- Make sure the heat is on low when you add the milk and cream cheese. Stir gradually till it thickens then add the pasta

Just some constructive criticism. I'm a chef and I must say this is amazing, however may I suggest that the cook time on the shrimp be altered? Shrimp takes 1 minute(1 min30seconds if marinated) each side to cook perfectly

800gm Raw Shrimp (devained)
marinade:
Fresh Garlic
Italian Seasoning
Chili Flakes
Smoked Peprika
Salt
Lemon juice
Olive Oil
Cook 6 minutes medium-high heat.
Add optional mushrooms
Lower heat and mount butter, parley and lemon. Then remove.

Sauce:
250g Low fat milk
120g Light Cream Cheese
40gm Parmesan
Seasoning
25 ml pasta water

Add el Dante pasta and wilt some spinach. Then add back te shrimp and more Parmesan/lemon/herbs.

Makes 4 Servings.

What exact brand of spaghetti are you using.125g of all the spaghetti I have access to has about 435-450kcal per 125g. Is this the same as yours?

I’m from Baltimore and let me tell you, that shrimp is overcooked. It was cooked before you even seasoned it. Use raw shrimp next time. Raw shrimp is gray. If it’s pink already, then it’s been cooked. Everything else is great. Keep it up.
