Easy Fix for Your Sticky Roku Remote Control Buttons

Welcome back to a very special episode!
I'm joined again by the Milbs as we fix a sticky button on our Sticky Roku Remote Controller.

1. Plastic Pry Tool
2. Plastic Pry Tab
3. Dawn Dish Soap
4. 91% Isopropyl Alcohol
5. Cotton Swabs

Mine doesn't t have any screw in the back. How else can i open it??

Same location on my remote. After opening the remote I noticed the bottom 4 keys, netflix,sling,Netflix,, n Starz was loose and did not get the sticky material. I never used soap and never got the left button to function. Have to replace remote

OK, I did this once and then my left and up buttons got sticky again. What I did is go back in, heat up the plastic sheet containing the buttons with a hair dryer. I removed it, cleaned it with soapy water and alcohol then reassembled without any glue at all. It works just fine. My conspiracy theory is that Roku purposely used a sticky goo thinking we would purchase new remotes. No bueno.

"Easy" fix lol. It's definitely a fix, but not an easy one.
