✨ About me: ✨
Hi, I’m Zoe! (Pronounced like Zoey) I’m a 26 year old from Montreal making videos about my REAL life. After quitting my management consulting "dream job", then being laid off from a startup job, I decided to take a chance and work for myself. I'm now mainly focused on YouTube (my absolute passion) and side-hustle contracts in the copywriting and admin fields.

My videos centre around work, gentle productivity, mental health & personal wellness, with a touch of fashion, tech, and whatever else I'm living. My goal is to be open & honest ALWAYS and for my channel to be a fun, inspiring place where we can set goals and live our best lives together. I would love for you to subscribe 💝

I totally feel that income comparison thing. Recently went from 50 to 75k and already starting to think about the next step in income because of how much some friends in the same industry are making.

While healthy comparison is good for motivation, it’s important to not let it take away from what you’ve accomplished.

We’re all on our own journey!

I totally understand your feelings of lack. I have them too. When my husband and I did our taxes this year, I was shocked to find out that I made 6 figures and didn’t even know it. I have a regular job and a side hustle. It was the side hustle that put me in my 6 figure number. I still feel like I don’t make enough and I’m working on feeling happy and satisfied with my regular job income. I don’t plan on side hustling forever. I’m working on feeling comfortable with my one income.

With the exception of cash envelopes, it truly feels like I’m watching myself budget. So relatable and realistic. I do most of the same things when I budget and it is so freeing.

Thank you for this! <3 My 2024 New Year's resolution is to learn how to budget. This was literally my first video on budgeting ever and I couldn't have asked for a more positive video. Navigating the emotion attached to money is so nervewracking but the energy you give off makes me feel so inspired to get started.

Hey Zoe! I was wondering if you could do some more indepth videos about how you stick to your grocery budget? I’m always so impressed that you come in under budget quite often. This is the hardest category for me to not overspend on. As always, love the video ❤

YES for the new camera which means a lot of long videos 👏 another month in which you did amazing Zoe! I really like how you separate your earnings in different accounts and categories, it does make sense and it feels organized ✨️

There was a great podcast on the art of manliness about contentment and he mentioned that we can identify what feels wealthy to each of us. Spending more money in those areas that make us feel wealthy will increase our happiness versus spending everywhere. For example if you are happy buying books and going to Vermont each year that can feel wealthy for you versus spending money on things you don’t
