New ones are provided with the 0.50 firmware, which is definitely NOT Oluv-tuned. Check and downgrade if necessary. I downgraded mine to 0.48 and it sounds great.

The Dual Electronics AMBTS34 Black Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speakers are the best, $80 and are very loud. Sound like a PartyBox with the bass and are very great.

There are a lot of mixed feelings about Oluv in the audio world but the man is passionate about sound quality without a doubt. When I found out he was doing the tuning on the Uboom L I knew it was going to be good and more than worthy of the asking price. So, needless to say, I'm just waiting for mine to arrive now. It's called earpfun tho, and i don't know if i would walk over streets in shoe pleasure if my Card in my Pocket wallet would enjoy the name, however if i would be on vacation it night would be a nice buy without becoming that tech guy and be that only " big" brand guy like walking into a budget store and buying a random beach speaker with a disco light to put in you're Bag from TravelBag, especially if you have a big bag in it from TechBag for you're stuff with a cable from Plug&Cable and a adapter from Powersourche!

Personally I'd just wait for a JBL Flip 6 to go on sale cus its got an EQ app, partyboost, and dedicated tweeters for clear sound and unusually good bass for its size

Plus I mean look at this thing, a lot of companies are using derivative designs of JBL's lineup such as the pop-can-sized dual radiator design
