What I love about this scene is that Gimli isn't the slightest bit concerned about being killed, despite the overwhelming numbers, his only concern is that Legolas finds out he has to be tossed across the gap.

Real talk though, that may have been the most effective use of a dwarf in LOTR. Dwarf mobility through air (jumping) is a weakness, so being thrown headlong into a band of uruks makes up for it, and dwarves are so fucking ferocious that the uruks now have to deal with the Middle Earth honey badger just tearing them apart with blind rage!
