Makes very good sense, unfortunately it seems like men that are thinking of the future and what they want to accomplish are not the ones looked at. Normally the bad boy is the type of guy that is looked at, then after a woman is crushed, she will look for the other guys she ignored. To be blunt, a man who works hard, enjoys being home, including with his pets, and doesn't mind doing chores, as they are a necessary thing, is not the kind of guy that women look at. I wanted to see this because of the conundrum. People value most what they can not have. The most intense love is unrequited. True but not very useful.
