Hot oil will also cause 1-degree burns. As for the treatment, back in the days, you could use whey as a medicine.

Will injectable lidocaine, not injected, just dripped on a burn help with pain or will it not soak into a burn and numb at all?

What if my face and hands are completely red? Like i know that those are first degree sunburns but i can't just put my whole face under a bandage. What should i do with that?

I’ve been electrocuted countless times because dumb me put my finger near the outlet when I was pulling the charger out but no burns from that! But once I got a 2nd degree burn on my finger (with blister duh) by touching a rod with a marshmallow on it that was above HOT fire...

Rubbing alcohol is amazing for 1st degree burns. Not only does it clean and disinfect... it really does remove the burning pain. I have used it for misc minor burns, 4th of july sparkler burns, etc.

Yes! Don’t put any butter or anything that’s going to basically seal the skin! The burn and inflammation are producing heat, it needs to breath. If you seal in that heat it WILL get worse and turn into a second or third degree burn. Bandages are fine, but anything that’s topical that actually goes on the skin or bandages that are secured with adhesive... no lol.

Have you ever tried Milk of Magnesia on sunburn? It works wonders. I'm a white dude from south Texas that gets to much sun from fishing, and that magnesia will draw out the heat and redness by the morning.
