I like most of your videos, but I think the comparison in this one may be a little confusing for some folks, as you mainly compared them as if they are both developed and marketed to primarily be “business” finance softwares, which is not the case, and may falsely lead some viewers to think of both of them as such. You're comparing like as if it's an apples to apples comparison, when it’s more like an apples to oranges, as they aim at different market's even though there is some overlap. I would say the simpler answer is this: Quicken is mainly developed to manage your "Personal Finance" and "Personal Assets, " such as your personal checking accounts, savings, credit cards, debts, creating budgets, your 401k's, IRA's, your mortgage, mutual funds, keeping track of your personal net worth and more etc; although it does have "add on" versions for managing your "Business Finance." QuickBooks, on the other-hand, is "ONLY" and I mean only, developed and marketed to manage all of your “Business finance, " and business accounts for a business that you run; it is "not" developed and marketed to manage any of your personal finances at all. I would recommend using “Both” softwares in this way: I would recommend using Quicken to manage all of your personal finances as mentioned before, and then if you also have an “active” business with a worthy enough amounts of finances, accounts, and transactions etc that you want or need to keep track of, I would “Also” recommend having a “separate” QuickBooks account for your business for running and managing your business finances etc.

Quick books just raised the online price to $50.00/month with no betterment of the basic product. Just had to redo an invoice because the invoice date defaulted in the past to the same date of the last invoice I looked up. This makes the increase in price more painful.

Quicken was originally developed by Intuit but sold off so the company could focus on QuickBooks.
