For prod env, this is really bad. The issue is that when you restore, it creates a new db server with a new domain. each db domain is linked to its name And since all the webapps are linked using specific db domain, it becomes complicated. you cannot rename a db once its created so only option is to update all the wbapp env variables. it also deletes all your backup history on the newly restored server.
